# Originality and Claim Boundary

## Originality

This article introduces a publication-specific operating pattern: the unit-occupancy episode as a third identity distinct from both the physical unit and the customer. It does not duplicate the existing physical-unit cutover article, which addresses splits, merges, renumbering and material redefinition of space. It also does not duplicate the unit-availability article, which addresses the release conditions for rentable inventory.

All scenarios, names, facility identifiers, customer identifiers, agreement identifiers, timestamps and datasets are explicitly fictional.

## Claim boundary

- No customer, deployment, product, integration, performance, occupancy, revenue, adoption, award or recognition claim is made.
- No product is named.
- W3C PROV-DM is used only as domain-agnostic provenance grounding.
- RFC 3339 is used only for Internet timestamp interoperability.
- NIST Privacy Framework is described as voluntary and used only for high-level privacy-risk framing.
- The proposed register is an operating diagnostic, not a legal mandate, accounting rule, technical standard or claim about source-system capabilities.
- The image is AI-generated editorial art and is not represented as documentary evidence.
