# Final editorial QA — evening AI architecture lane

**Status:** Publication-ready package completed September 7, 2026. Three independent editorial lenses and one rendered visual/tool lens each scored the exact package at or above 9.5/10.

## Required scored reviews

| Review lens | Score | Exact finding |
|---|---:|---|
| Senior self-storage trade editor | **9.7/10** | The opening makes a citation-versus-authority failure concrete, the five-site example stays recognizably self-storage, and the argument remains product-free. The thesis is distinct from the existing runtime-identity, freshness, business-time, dead-letter and event-governance articles. |
| Responsible-AI and retrieval architecture editor | **9.8/10** | The article separates source eligibility, access scope, retrieval coverage, support state and operating release. NIST and OWASP are used within their stated scope, the current 2026 OWASP release is distinguished from the retained 2025 retrieval-specific page, and model output is never treated as observed facility fact. |
| Multi-location operator and implementation editor | **9.7/10** | The method is limited to consequential uses; names source, retrieval and operating owners; defines five release states; and gives a 44-field receipt with a blank row plus four fictional teaching records. The Harbor Pine example shows a useful hold without inventing a result. |
| Rendered visual and tool presentation | **9.7/10** | Complete article and receipt renders at 1280, 390 and 320 pixels show no horizontal overflow, failed image, truncated field or page error. A first render revealed that the image insertion did not match the generated byline markup; the renderer was corrected and every width was regenerated before scoring. |

**Aggregate:** 38.9/40, or **9.725/10**. No unresolved editorial or presentation defect remained after final rendering.

## Evidence and package checks

- **One-article rule:** The current-date evening AI-architecture slot was absent at preflight. Exactly one complete package was created in this slot.
- **Article:** *The Answer Needs a Retrieval Receipt: Prove What Facility AI Was Allowed to Know*, by Jared Mastroianni.
- **Length:** 1,671 body words under the documented Unicode-token rule with bracketed footnote markers excluded. The preferred 1,600–2,200-word range is met.
- **Voice:** Natural, direct operating prose. The article contains no product name, invented deployment, customer, result, award, quote, relationship or adoption claim.
- **Practical value:** The 44-field receipt binds question, consequence, facility and portfolio scope, eligible evidence classes, access policy, corpus and query versions, coverage counts, missing or conflicted evidence, source support, runtime, policy, release, ownership, correction and revalidation.
- **Fictional logic:** Harbor Pine Storage and all four CSV teaching records are explicitly fictional. The five-site example correctly distinguishes all facilities being represented from only four of five required exception sources being covered.
- **Sources:** Five body citations map one-to-one to SRC-01 through SRC-05. Every official source URL returned HTTP 200 on September 7, 2026.
- **Current-source distinction:** The OWASP GenAI LLM Top 10 2026 is the current release. The 2025 vector-and-embedding page remains only a retrieval-specific technical reference, with that limitation visible in both article and register.
- **Duplicate control:** The proposed Jared canonical and corresponding WordPress path both returned HTTP 404; the current Jared sitemap contained 61 routes without the slug; the exact WordPress REST slug query returned `[]`; exact-title and scoped web searches found no collision.
- **Local originality:** Across 3,239 other Markdown files, 59 eligible article sentences of 14 or more words produced zero normalized exact matches. The maximum six-word-shingle overlap was 0.586166%, with the prior runtime-identity paper; the shared fragments were generic governance phrases, while title, thesis, scenario, structure and tool remain distinct.
- **Tool integrity:** All six CSV rows contain exactly 44 columns; headers and IDs are unique; one blank template and four fictional records are correctly labeled; article counts and RET-FIC-001 coverage values agree.
- **Image:** PHOTO-STORYLINES image 052 was copied byte-identically and inspected at 3,840 × 2,560. System metadata reports no creator, author, description or generator value; a string scan found no named AI-tool or software label. Public copy still classifies the image truthfully as Jared-owned AI-generated editorial material, not documentary evidence.
- **Destination:** Jared's personal authority site only. The modSTORAGE WordPress blog is excluded from publishing the same package.
- **Claim state:** Package creation, handoff, repository mutation, deployment, publication, sitemap/feed inclusion, crawling, indexing, coverage and recognition remain separate.

## Rendered QA

- `render-preview.mjs` builds a complete local article preview from the exact article, image notes and CSV.
- Full article and tool captures were generated at 1280, 390 and 320 pixels.
- Automated readback found document width equal to viewport width, tool scroll width equal to client width, all images loaded and zero page errors at all three widths.
- Visual inspection confirmed a clean 3:2 image, readable hierarchy, linked references, prominent download and complete one-column tool containment on narrow screens.
- The final preview uses RET-FIC-001 and displays missing evidence, 4/5 coverage, release state and owners consistently with the article.

No email, submission, CMS mutation, repository publication, search submission, payment, deletion or other provider action occurred. The package is ready for one Master Personal Site Authority handoff; handoff is not publication.
